| Q: | Do I have to complete a Learning-On-Demand program in one sitting?
| | A: | No. If you cannot complete the program in one sitting, you may return to www.inquisit.org later to continue the program. Login with your e-mail address and password, choose Learning-On-Demand and "In Progress Programs." Select the program you wish to continue.
| Q: | Am I able to ask the presenter a question during my Learning-On-Demand program?
| | A: | Inquisit and our faculty presenters welcome your questions. Learning-On-Demand offers you the opportunity to ask the faculty expert(s) questions relevant to the content presented. A "Questions?" tab is available to you as you participate in each program. At any time during the program, click on the tab to submit a question or comment. You will receive a response by the faculty presenter as soon as possible.
| Q: | How long does a typical Learning-On-Demand program take to complete?
| | A: | The amount of time needed to complete each Learning-On-Demand program depends on the length of the program and the learner. Learning-On-Demand programs are generally 1 to 3 hours in content length.
| Q: | How long do I have to complete a Learning-On-Demand program after registering and paying for it?
| | A: | You have as long as you would like to complete a program after payment is made until the course expires (1 to 2 years, depending on content and continuing education contact hour requirements). Simply login using your e-mail address and password, choose Learning-On-Demand and choose the program you wish to continue.
| Q: | How do I access the post-test on my Learning-On-Demand program?
| | A: | After participating in the full program (reviewing each slide completely), the post-test will be available to you. Answer each question by choosing the correct answer. All questions must be answered before the test can be scored. There is no time limit on this test.
| Q: | How many attempts do I have and what score is needed to successfully complete a Learning-On-Demand program?
| | A: | You are given a maximum of three attempts to pass the test. A score of 80% or above is required to pass the test. If your score is less than 80%, you are presented with a list of the questions you answered incorrectly. You are then able to review the section of the course that addresses the material in the incorrectly answered question(s). You then have the opportunity to resubmit your answer(s).
If you receive a < 100% score, the question(s) you answered incorrectly are presented to you for review. This review is presented to you to enhance your learning by reinforcing the concepts.
| Q: | Do I have to complete the post-test and/or the evaluation in for my Learning-On-Demand program?
| | A: | If you wish to receive continuing education contact hours and a statement of completion, you must complete the post-test. If CE and a certificate are not needed, you do not have to complete the test.
The evaluation is required for CME/CE contact hours. It provides the faculty and the CE provider (Inquisit) with valuable information needed to continue its dedication to offering quality on-line educational activities. Your feedback is reported anonymously to the faculty. The responses assist Inquisit to develop future courses that meet your needs.
| Q: | I completed my Learning-On-Demand program but the post-test is unavailable to me. Why?
| | A: | In order to be awarded CE, Learning-On-Demand requires you to fully participate in the program (review each slide completely). Therefore, the post-test is only available after each slide of the program is studied. If you have not been presented the post-test, please ensure you have viewed the course in its entirety.
| Q: | Occasionally, during a course the media player pauses and "buffers." Why?
| | A: | Learning-On-Demand programs offer you an educational experience beyond simply reading content from the computer screen. You hear the actual speaker's voice present the material. The audio content is accompanied by visual slides and graphics. Because our programs are rich in visual and audio substance, they require more bandwidth. Therefore, you may experience "buffering."
Learning-On-Demand does not require the downloading of the audio/video files. We pass along enough data to the media player so it begins playing the audio while the rest of the data for the program loads simultaneously. If you are connected through a dial-up modem, there may not be enough bandwidth for both the audio to play and the graphics to load. If this happens and the media player does not have enough data to continue playing, it will pause and "buffer" until it receives the information to play next. The media player simply needs to pause periodically in order to keep up. The pause is very brief and will not interfere or detract from your learning experience. |
| Q: | How do I get my statement of completion for my Learning-On-Demand program?
| | A: | Upon successful completion of the Learning-On-Demand educational activity you will be notified electronically via e-mail (the e-mail address used when you created your account). This e-mail message will include a link to your statement of completion.
| Q: | What happens to the Learning-On-Demand program after I have completed it, taken the post-test and evaluation and have received my statement of attendance?
| | A: | Inquisit is Your RESOURCE for Better Health Care Knowledge. Inquisit's Learning-On-Demand is dedicated to your continued professional development. Once you have paid for, participated in, and successfully passed the post-test of a Learning-On-Demand program, the content remains accessible to you as a resource until the program expiration date shown on the program description page.
