Some employees you may feel are lost causes; some are habitually late for work; others have a difficult time managing their time rarely meeting deadlines. But, by clearly developing, communicating and enforcing company policies, employee behavior normally improves. And those who do not improve may be asked to leave the organization.

The presenter will walk through his proven, real-life workplace policies that can consistently break bad habits. You will get his insight on how and when to use the policies.

Some of the bad habits discussed will be absenteeism and tardiness, using time for personal business, not a team player, taking extended breaks, lack of communication, talking and texting on cell phones, negative attitudes, "That''s NOT MY job" syndrome and overall time wasters.

  Brent Ballow has over 20 years of legal experience in labor and employee relation matters. He has successfully negotiated numerous collective bargaining agreements, regularly giving advice on the Administration of those agreements and has been responsible for over 60 representation or decertification elections. He is a frequent speaker and trainer throughout the country on labor and employment issues including the ADA, the FMLA, and Privacy in the Workplace, Discrimination Laws and Labor Relations.
